I was well acquainted with the thought experiment. Why do you think I corrected your statement:

"thus, homosexual orientation retains the status of infirmity, while heterosexuality retains primacy as a necessary expedient to propagate.........."

If you merely wish to say that IF homosexuality is universal and IF one considers parenting under such circumstances to be compensatory, then one could voice the opinion that it was an infirmity. However, a very little thought would inform you that IF homosexuality was universal, it would certainly be considered healthy and normal and as fundamental human nature.

If you are going to do a thought experiment you ought to do it correctly. If you wish to state that YOU would consider it an infirmity were homosexuality to be universal...well, that is just fine with me.
