(And if lofty emperors could only see their new clothes !)<G> ... some of the best survivors do not <font size=4>grow up <font size=2> at all , but they -----><font size=4>grow out <font size=2> in time and thrive on expansion along all directions , like many vines , lichen and mycologic spore communities , and the crab & bermuda grasses , hehe .;-) So growing "Up" , is most certainly an optional idea in lieu of the other possibilities of "growing out" & expanding ... along with all kinds of other inner developement and those other 3 dimensional rennaisance man/woman pursuits that can draw either I or anyone along and fulfill. Of course it all might just be a poet's susnshine daydream , but maybe if we told our kids to "Expand Out" the network and get connected to more things , as a substitute for the imagery of "growing-up" they would get a closer view of the real responsibility of networking & expanding life's databases and furthering the more elegant integration of the vast neuro-networks , which each of us are ...and in the midst of exploring. Once the well-meaning wise used to say : Go west young man , go west ! Plus Ultra ! ;-) PS: In the ancient world , the expression used was "Non Plus Ultra " , or "not more beyond " ... to describe not venturing past the rock of Gibraltar for their be sea- monsters and dangers , and risk of falling of the edge of the world . Of course the Phoenicians did go more-beyond and did quite well for their time.
