Andrew,

I'm not sure how far this pullback (if this is one) will go, but as a contrarian trader I would want to see a pullback that would generate a little fear in the bugs without doing real technical damage before my buying interest would be seriously rekindled. For the POG it would be a pullback to the point of breakout from the triangle, which was about $368 but since da boyz like a little brinksmanship I can see $365... so we have some agreement there. For HUI it would be in the range of 158 to 170... again we're in the same ballpark. It would also make "sense" if such a pullback would coincide with the seasonally weak October/November period plus or minus 2 weeks.

I'm not saying that this will happen, just that it is the kind of scenario that I would have to see to entice me to buy the PM sector in more than a lukewarm manner. I would not be surprised to find that other swing traders feel the same way.

Regards,

vt
