"Are there professional patients? Anyway, the potential for arousal is a matter of speculation. Some may over- rate it, but there are no solid figures to say their misgivings are wholly unfounded........"

None of this refers to any areas of disagreement between us, does it?!

So now I am out for the evening at a "wake" for Johnny Cash. I also taught the Weeping Willow how to cry.

They are all dying: Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, et al. In Country music there are still George and Merle. Then it will be done...

I did a quick search and found some figures. The prevalence of professionals violating these standards is pervasive. 70 percent of therapists say that they have had clients who reported sexual involvement with a previous therapist.

The reports I am linking you to generally provide data on incidents that have been reported against professionals. They do not include data on mutually consented episodes, episodes perpetrated by clients, or on episodes in which sparks fly but the participants do not take action on their raging hormones. It would be interesting if there was a survey done on what percentage of people have ever felt that there was any kind of sexual tension expressive or receptive in a professional setting. I'm guessing it would be 100% with a 3% error. The error accounts for folks like solon, kholt, and x...who are error prone about most things.
