Harry: It is still not too late to lighten up on the P&C insurers if you or anyone has them in the portfolio. Its not just the homeowners like progressive and geico (part of Berkshire) but the commercial writers like AIG, CHUBB, TRAVELERS, HARTFORD and reinsurers. Problem with states like FL and the Carolina's even if the company doesn't underwrite on the shore those policies are covered by mandatory participation pools where its divied up based upon premiums. Lets hope for peoples sake the storm weakens as it moves north.
