I follow it but have never owned it.

Looks like a deep out of favor value play here IMO.

Most people may not realise it is the 13th biggest gold producer by ounces.

Noranda looks good to me, though I would rather hold things that are currently profitable. At least it does pay a dividend.

It could start making a ton of money exporting nickel, copper, etc. to China. I may well buy into it.

wouldn't buy it -- some experience with them -- I don't think they are that smart -- esp the parent company ...

But if you want to play it -- buy under 9 and sell ... Higher <g>
