No, it doesn't - unless you live in a black and white world. For the rest of us, there is such a thing as a choice between evils, which is, I believe, a major subject of ethics and ethical dilemmas.

The 150B$ we are going to waste in Iraq, to conquer it and then in the first 12 months of our futile effort to hold it, would have been much better spent on Energy Independence.

And wait on events while dangers gather? Stand by as peril draws closer? Time is not on our side.
