Even the business handshake is beginning to seem less and less necessary in many settings. However, there may be incidental touching in some business exchanges. I figure if someone made a habit of 'copping a feel' in the process, they could be called on the carpet for it. Not so easily discernable in the masseus industry.

There is a precedent for male and female salons, spas, gyms, etc. They were all that way until the fairly recent movement to unisex. But not all business went unisex and there was no requirement that they do so, so I think your masseur would be on firm ground there.

So its about precedents rather then abstract principle right?
