When the team is down 5-3 in the bottom of the ninth and changes pitchers, or down 21-3 in the fourth quarter with two minutes to play and changes quarterbacks, the losing pitcher or quarterback is the one who played 90% of the game -- not the reliever. Wouldn't be fair to do otherwise, would it?

The relief pitcher or quarterback isn't handed the loss or blamed for failure, except in yours and your similar "thinkers'" (not) extraordinarily twisted minds.
