This is why I'm not so sure that I'll vote for a democrat for the White House in 2004. I think that Bush has learned his lesson, and in any case, he doesn't have enough troops for any more experiments. I also suspect that it will be easier for a Republican to pull out of Iraq "with honor" than a Democrat, since most of the Democratic field are running on a platform of more war in Iraq.
