"your average citizen can very easily see that a much cheaper and easier fix would be to simply open the drug market to Canada"

Liizie and I thought you could think clearly. Of course that is true. Then say good by to the Biotech future and kiss all those cancer cures goodbye. How many cures came from Russia? How many cures have come out of Canada?

There have been numerous articles by small firms closing shop already because the funding is drying up.

BY the way I view health care as an exchange of service no more no less. You get what you are willing to pay for. Even then there are no guarantees. What may cure one will kill another. It is not a science. Most doctors know little about nutrition and it is in their interest to keep you sick and on the operating table. Why should we pay 20k to a doctor when a person can heal himself though diet and exercise. A woman in Morgan Hill a damn alcoholic cost over 300,000 dollars for liver surgery and 2 weeks later was back on the booze. Why are we responsible for her bills. Why should I work out every day eat well and then be forced to pay for the smokers drinkers lardos and drug addicts who bring on their own diseases?
The best medicine is 1 hr a day at the gym and push aways from the dinner table.
