Nine months from now, the 200 million dollar Bush re-election juggernaut will be in full swing. They will use 9-11, the military and many macho symbols to hoodwink voters with strong imagery to portray their man as the noblre commander in chief who didn't have time to do anything else but "defend" us. Believe it or not, that kind of thing works. Liberal voters won't even matter in November 2004. The only ones who will matter are the swing-voters, many of whom voted Republican last time, still believe Saddam and 9-11 were connected and support the war despite the poor planning and screw-ups. The Dems problem usually is that they don't run a candidate who can win the average Southern Illinois moderate-conservative veteran who doesn't watch the news and may even listen to Rush Limbaugh. You win ovre that voter, you win. You lose him, it's either a tie or you lose. What Dems really need in 2004 is a landslide. Best ticket for that is Kerry-Clark. Two Silver Stars and Two Bronze Stars plus honesty and integrity against awolbush.com and Enron/Halliburton Cheney.
