If you don't think that the U.S. competes for
investment capital and jobs just like a "retail store"
then you are sadly mistaken.

Unless you are suggesting that we construct
a big "Berlin Wall" to keep our capital and jobs
from freely going elsewhere? If this is what
you are advocating, then I agree that the
"retail store" analogy is no longer appropriate.
In that case, the U.S. would become a "prison".
