The real person is the spirit within us that is eternal. We have lost our focus on what is truly important. The growth of our spirits.

A very ancient concept is that . For man noticed ages ago that the mighty oak emanated from one small acorn and so forth . This is where you get the imagery of the sacred tree (and sacred river) found in all mythologies including your own christian/judeo mythology. There were two trees in the garden of Eden , btw , and you find it throughout the ancient world's belief systems.

Our life is only a short second when compared with eternity.

There isn't any "time" in eternity , so one second or a million years is irrelevent . That experience of the "eternal" is beyond the categories of all words and ideas used to try and express it . Much like the word "God", and the that's the problem with Jehova ....

he "thinks" he is God.

This is where you get entire religions that would be surprised to know that they are truely rooted in idolatry of the word , and not the "eternal" behind the word , which is the goal of the quest.
