" your comment, "I have a lot I don't recognize but am unsure what they are for and dont want to delete something important" leads me to believe that you are just opening RegCleaner and it is showing you all the programs in your registry. per the post i linked above, you do not make deletion selections from that list... unless you know precisely what you are doing and precisely what you want to remove. it is only when you run the Registry Cleanup, as outlined in the post linked above, that the program shows you what entries are invalid and can be safely removed, as stated here ... #reply-19301374 ... "when RegCleaner identifies entries as "useless and should be safe to remove ", i do just that. the program has never let me down." look for those words... these entries are found to be useless and they should be safe to remove . you can right-click each invalid entry for more info. when you feel satisfied and safe, put a check in each box or go up to the Select menu to facilitate the process, then click the Remove Selected button in lower right. Disclaimer: i should take more time to point out that i am providing details of how these programs work For Me On My Computers, and if anyone at any time follows these directions and things get phunky on their computers, please don't come crying to me. i have no idea nor do i have any control over what else you have done to your computer that may make things dramatically different. my advice is offered in the spirit of helpfulness and i hope that if something does not work for someone that they will be smart enough not to hold me personally responsible... or, to put it another way YMMV
