What I heard on tv was that Cheney's invitation to the formal 9/11 ceremony was withdrawn
because of security problems.

It is terrible that the EPA lied about the air quality at the site where the twin towers
stood. I don't understand why they lied. Perhaps Bush and Cheney were worried
that if they told the truth the stock markets would decline further.

A story about the 9/11 Widows was a segment on Bill Moyer's show, NOW, last night.
They are tough and aggressive, and they are unhappy with the Bush administration's
investigation into 9/11 so I don't believe that Cheney's invitation to speak at
the formal 9/11 ceremony was withdrawn for security reasons. I think there
are people who didn't want Cheney at the event.
