From the earliest reports that this warning was heard ahead of time, it is reported that special effort was made to delve into and discover more. Nothing was found, but the effort was reported made. Who writes that nothing was done? Oh, some anti-Republican zealots. Re: " Now we know there was really no excuse for it." YOU think YOU know. The majority of the rest of us feel it is an appropriate war.
