Thank you for your message. I am aware, though, that Germany is no collection of saints and that Schröder could have played a more constructive role during the Iraq crisis. In any case I see no use in perpetrating previous trans-Atlantic differences. The only people rejoicing in a divided West are bin Laden and his "colleagues". The best has to be made of the situation as it is - and there is still a chance to turn Iraq into a better country than it was before the war.
