I knew the Brits would give Blair a hard time. I thought Americans would make life harder for George W. Bush when they learned that he lied when he said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but people here aren't that concerned. It's weird. My uncle supports Bush but he believes there should be strict separation between church and state so he was unhappy when he saw Ashcroft on tv last week. My mother told me to keep my mouth shut so I didn't say very much although I told him that a year or so ago Justice Dept. employees complained because Ashcroft made them sing and pray at work. I hope the big hurricane Isabel doesn't interfere with your trip to Texas. A trip to Germany should be fun. Keep us posted!
