He admits it and somehow feels it is "noble".

Dan,

Re: As I said, YOU'LL say anything terrible is true of Bush, no matter how speculative, as it fits your agenda

You sound frustrated with having the truth thrown at you so frequently. At one time, I was highly speculative about how evil George Bush is. I speculated that he would become a war criminal in an aggressive attack against a country that posed no real threat to the U.S., and which actually was running a regime that was anathema to the wacko religious nutcases like the al Qaeda crew. The Ba'ath Party in Iraq may have been a lot of bad things, but they weren't stupid enough to attack the U.S., or to let religious lunatics run free.

Now, in an act of supreme hubris and dementia, George Bush has created a nightmare for the world. He's mired the U.S. Army in an unwinnable war. He's squandering the nation's treasury, enriching his pals at an extraordinary cost to you and every other taxpayer.

What I find astonishing is how a smart fellow like you can support someone who is stealing from you. That boggles my mind.
