If I read you correct you think oil is going back up ?
Me ; I don't know, but sort of feel it will.
I agree with you longer term , a jobless recovery
won't work; & sometimes a recovery don't happen
even in full employment. ( Japan )

I'm such a small time "trader" taht I don't try to
look way out.. Even when things are good I don't
"buy and hold" . The market is always going UP/DOWN
and I prefer not to trust the long term view but to
try to exploit the shorter term swings. ( to some degree )
----
I'm 66 and bonds make up most of my longer term
money, taht and I buy stuff I understand. ( local real estate )
As far as my trading money goes, I might be 95% cash
like now, and then 150% invested the next day;
then back to cash before the close.
---
I've been selling into the rally, and shorting some
but my shorting is even shorter term..
---
My last buying spree ( where I held stocks for any amount of
time was last Oct. ) they are all sold now but for one.
---
My gut tells me to be more careful on the short side now that
I've seen this drop in oil prices, even if it is short term.
---
What recently surprised me was to see Crude OIL drop so much
with a dollar falling , taht's unusual and while I could
guess at what it means, I know my chances of being right
are less than 50/50.
