Did your Instructor have anything to say about harassment and blackmail?

About false allegations, there is an actual Commandment, I believe. I'm not sure whether it applies to deceptive insinuation but my guess would be yes.

I told Laz you didn't want the contention to end except by achieving apparent public exculpation via apparent social acceptance! (If what you'd wanted was the opportunity for civil discourse, sincere apology would have made it easy!)

I got a note asking what the heck I thought CH's compulsions are about. I replied that I thought they were less about sex than about power: You can get away with being a bully, so you go for it, because you can get that standard bully's power-thrill out of it. Insinuating an historical intimate "relationship," or threatening to reveal personal information, offer bonus fun because the victim is a female, but the dynamic you crave is mainly the bullying one, I think.

If you cease posting to me, even scripture, moved though I am by your deeply held Christian values, you will cease hearing from me.

Up to you, CH.
