I think Clark should be the Vice-President. Remember, we need an expert on domestic and social issues too. Not to mention someone who can get us on the path to clean energy independence, a collosal task which takes real expertise.

Clark has spent 90% of his career in the military and overseas. Regardless of his appeal, he cannot exploit Bush's #1 weakness, which is the economy. And he is not the expert who can "prosecute" Bush on corruption, cronyism, environmental "crimes", zero health care plan, etc.

Kerry-Clark puts it all together and is unbeatable. Also, the nominee is going to have to be someone the DNC trusts to take over. Otherwise, no Super Delegates. Like Dean, Clark is an outsider and it would take a veritable miracle for him to amass the 50% of the delegates necessary to win. He can at best split the "outsider" vote with Dean.

I adore Clark, but Kerry is the one ready for the Oval Office. He will need a strong southern running mate though and why not another Silver Star winner? That would crush Karl Rove's entire strategy and cut him off at every turn.
