Hi rose, Thank you so much for the linking the series on the NWT. I have always liked the Globe and Mail as I use to travel to Toronto a lot on business. They do a lot of good work. But mainly I like to read and gather information on the "clash of cultures" as the "technological rich" but "spiritually bankrupt" meets the "techno-poor but spiritually rich"..(I am talking generalites here, of course, in terms of people on either side of the issue) Initially, the former has the upper hand, but in the long run, I know where I am placing my money.. For example, this excerpt is evidence of my thoughts. <<That is the promise of the new north. But there are perils, too. Aboriginals are struggling to balance the demands of development on their tight-knit societies, and on the fragile environment of the north. Incomes have started to rise, but crime is rising even faster.>> Anyway, we had a wonderful weekend in the sun.. I hope all here did too.. m
