Now that it is approved, Cubicin doesn't have to beat Vancomycin across the board. It isn't possible to control for everything in a trial. Given the problems we are having with resistance, anything is worth a try.

Using Cubicin while avoiding Vancomycin for a while *might* cause the VR strains to revert and loose resistance.

I've been accumulating this one for a while. I've learned not to ask V1 about it since it has dived every time I've asked :-)
