He was quoted, for instance, today as saying

I actually saw it, John. Which is unusual for me, I normally read it later. It was, of course, put a little differently than you did. On air, live, I believed him.

You have to remember that this is Politics, and your side is going to claim that everything they say is a lie.

I had the same experience - thinking since Junior was incompetent, that Cheney was smarter than the rest of the field, Dem or Repub, and would act on behalf of the country.

Now he's become the Liar in Chief.
