America will be a lot safer under Kerry. The main reason is that he will bring our allies back into the fold with us and we can once again have a global war on terrorism instead of just a neocon war. This will make all the difference. Kerry will also see to it that outr first responders stop getting laid off and are better equipped. In every state in this country, police and firemen are losing their jobs under Bush, and/or not getting the basic equipment they need. It's really a hollow war on terrorism when you cannot even make our homeland safer. The airlines are really the only place they've tightened up. Everywhere else it's a sieve, especially in Iraq of course where our troops continue to be used as bait and sitting ducks for terrorists just because Bush can't do diplomacy.
