All true.

I hope it doesn't turn out that way though. One of the reasons I was against the war was the problem of holding the country together after Saddam was gone. I have read that dislike of the American occupier is causing some interesting alliances, and that gave me reason to hope. But everything you mention certainly pushes the country toward civil war, and partition.
