Value investors should watch this one now. The price is close to book. Drop was due in part to a resignation of the CFO. Will return to favor shortly...my opinion.

What is your guess about the Union Pacific difficulties and if Railtex will gain out of it. I've read that there is talk about easing track and terminal rights in Texas, because of UPR's problems. Wouldn't this be a boon to Railtex?

Also, why is Railtex valued more poorly than other small lines of similar character: RailAmerica, Wisconsin Central, Providence & Worchester...???

Sincerely,
Ben

It's been a year and RTEX is still making continuing low after low after low. What goes on with this "expanding" RR? I bought some at 13.5 (a nice "low" price) and now it goes to 12.25!!!

Does anyone have an opinion as to why this company is such an economic failure?
