3.5+ unemployed "idiots" call this a bad economy.
Young people not included in that 3.5 million with the worst unemployment in 55 years call this a bad economy. Millions of others who've given up and aren't even bothering to try to find work call this a bad economy. Entrepreneurs unable to raise money call this a bad economy. Anyone trying to make a decent profit selling goods calls this a bad ecomomy.

The only thing propping this economy up now are low-interest mortgages and war spending. Take that away and it's the pits. And the real estate bubble is going to burst soon, by next year. Plus interest rates are going to rise.

Technically we may be out of recession, but in many ways we're in something even worse than a recession. It's a very sluggish stagnant economy with opportunities only for the few. And even for those few getting rich is very tough these days. Opportunities for average people are more and more scarce. Plus, the 1.5 trillion deficits are going to weigh on us for a long-long time. Just like they did during the decade after Vietnam.

Bush really is the worst economic president of our lifetimes. It's not partisan spin, it's just fact.
