You dolt, your post lies within its own four corners.

Are you one of the "six thousand wounded," referred to in the headline (or did you make that up yourself, which is even more reprehensible), or perhaps one of the 1,500 wounded that are referred to in the second paragraph? Or, maybe one of the 1,178 cited in a later paragraph, buried in the body of the article?

Appears your powers of comprehension and analysis are "wounded," along with the writer's simple math, which should have alerted you before you re-published this piece of trash.

Not to put too fine a point on the subject, but that 6,000 figure refers to medical evacuations, which I expect includes sickness, pregnancy, sprains, tonsils, etc.

Total wounded is around 1,500, some of which will result in delayed fatalities.

I have read accounts of many limb amputations, owing largely to the body armor the troops wear.
