I remember when Bill appeared at a black church in his own Arkansas and lamented the numerous black church burnings he suffered through in his home state as a youth, all of which had a profound effect on his psyche. Then the Arkansas state historian (who happened to be black) was quoted as saying that he couldn't find a single instance of a black church being burned in state history. Ya gotta love Slick's showmanship. Like P.T. Barnum, when he screwed 'em they lined up for more. Remember Hillary's speech in New Zealand where she said that she was named after their national hero Sir Edmund Hillary? But she was born seven years before Edmund climbed Everest. Vaudeville never had a team like them. Not even George and Gracie.
