And if you remember Bush took heat from the democrats even then for not going immediately to DC.

There was a lot of nattering in the Media that implied at the best, that the Admin was totally confused, and at the worse, that Bush was a coward. When you follow the story in the Documentary, it becomes obvious why Air Force one went where it did, that Bush wanted to get back to DC ASAP, and that the confusion was the info coming in.
