Taki, I noticed on the EPYR press release dated August 25th that it lists "Howard A. Scala" as a contact. That name keeps popping up for me recently. Someone posted the following on the Raging Bull TTXI thread:

-----------------------------
FYI-from The Business Journal, Tampa Bay, Week of August 3 1998.

CAN'T JUDGE AN OFFICE BY ITS NAME: Tarpon Springs securities broker Howard A. Scala has apparently changed businesses, though you might not think so given the new name.

Scala, who recently lost an appeal of sanctions by the National Association of Securities Dealers, now runs a new business called Wall Street Financial at the same address and telephone number as his former business, Escalator Securities Inc.

The NASD in May ordered Escalator and Scala to pay a $50,000 fine, along with $106,359 plus interest in restitution after losing his appeal. That's on top of a $70,000 fine and $40,695 restitution from an NASD action in March.

Scala is prohibited from associating with any NASD member and is also "barred from executing principal transactions in equity securities with retail customers except for unsolicited liquidating transactions," according to the NASD.

A receptionist who answered the phone at Wall Street described it as a "financial and public relations" firm. Scala declined to comment further on his current business.
