OT--Ed, Long time no hear. I don't know if people here want to discuss Iraq policy, but no, I don't really have any second thoughts. I think we're in the first 2 years of a 20 year conflict against terrorism with an opportunity to help 1/4 of the world's population leave the Dark Ages 800 years late. I think casualties will be high, but this is not the time to wobble. I also don't think this is Vietnam, although a waffling America could turn it into one. The question is and has always been: do we have the resolve to do what's necessary? May I suggest to all who are interested Tom Friedman's "The Lexus and the Olive Tree." Kb
