Re: The Russians, the French and the Israelis conspire to do 9/11. An unholy alliance, to be sure.... I think that the Russians were game for a low-intensity terrorist ploy against the US. I mean, the Russians really planned "classical hijacks" with the hope that the shock of US airliners hijacked inside the US would be enough to prompt the US to take (serious) action in Afghanistan... The Russians never contemplated suicide crashes on US cities. The Israelis, however, had a much bigger ambition, so to speak... After all, Israel doesn't give a hoot about Afghanistan --geopolitically speaking, that is. So, the Israelis agreed to join the Russkies with a hidden agenda of their own... Besides, Israelis, as master US insiders, knew that the mere hijacking of US airliners wouldn't be enough to startle the US big-time. Moreover, their own agenda (as regards Arafat, the Mideast,...) called for a much bigger momentum to sway the US into an all-out involvement in the Mideast and alongside Israel. Hence my hunch that Israel is responsible for swerving the whole hijack plot away from its original course... Israel's Mossad was likely in charge of handling the hijackers in the US and so, it must have been easy for it to misinform the Russians, that is, say, to tell them to abort the whole thing because the hijackers were not ready... At that point, Putin may have decided to up the stakes and dispose of Massoud --to force a showdown in Afghanistan. Of course, since the Israelis lied about the readiness of the hijackers, the whole plot starts spiralling out of control: the hijackers, upon hearing the assassination of their recruiter, switched to Plan B, ie, domestic flights and suicide crashes... and the Mossad looks the other way because the messier the whole thing turns the better the outcome for Israel and her Judeofascist cabal.
