Here's the test -- can you imagine any of the range of POVs in the essay leading to smaller government? Of course not, but that's a question that begs for the answer I gave you. The fact is that even a small federal government is a huge thing. I'm having difficulty seeing how your point relates to Burumas's article on how the left's intellectuals have fallen down on the job. The Right may be more acute but both are paid by the predatory military-industrial-think-tank complex to frame foreign policy questions in terms that ignore the Constitution. Now you've really lost me. Help.
