Thanks Tim I started looking at it when it was around 9.25 and sat on my arse until it went to around 12. something. Bought a wad ( through ML ) and sold at around 14. Those flockers at ML were charging me around 900 comms on 1000 shares. I since discovered the dang thing trades like a stock so I been nibbling through Reagal at 11.95 /1000 comms. I can stand the volatiliy as long as that 6.7 tax free keeps comming each month :-)

Thought I would ask if when you speak of "volatility" of a closed end fund of municipal bonds, you mean the possibility of an enduring (ten years or more) large loss of principal because of a rise in long term interest rates?

I am scared of what an increase in interest rates would do even to my wife's TIPS fund, which would be adjusted upwards for increases in the CPI. I am hedging for her by buying Juno.
