Yeah, those Dem candidates for prez aren't very articulate, are they? ;-)

BTW, his name is Max Cleland and his lack of support for Bush on Iraq had little to do with his loss. He was far left of most Georgia voters on a vast array of issues - foreign policy was just one of them.

And before you start making hasty generalizations about Georgia voters, note that we also got rid of Bob Barr in 2002.

PS: Cleland lost his legs and one arm in a grenade accident in Vietnam, in case you were wondering. He's been very popular in Georgia for many years and few people questioned his patriotism. We did question his positions on issues, though. Shame on us.
