Interesting - that means some $35B of demand came from margin loans over the past six months, most of it in the past three. That compares to a similar surge in late 1999.

Does anyone know a place that has the up-to-date margin debt data tabulated or graphed?

Barring a repeat of early 2000, we should be forming a top now.
