when I look at the gold future I actually think quite often of the quote "Corner markets for a 10x return", that means for me, gold was often only a side bet, besides currencies and bonds.
But recently many amateur market makers stepped up the plate and the emini gold got some narrow spreads and liquidity. What does that mean?

And of course, every dog has its day...
