This is still part of the Victoria thing. I always planned to travel around until I found someplace I wanted to stay. I just haven't done it yet. I have a severe case of inertia. Victoria is still a possibility.

I had always planned to get a PO box and have my mail forwarded monthly while I wandered. That works for me. The obstacle is that VA requires a home rather than a PO address on a driver's license and perhaps on a car registration.

I have done further research this afternoon. Virginia has more available info on line than when I last looked a couple of years ago. They have a packet of stuff you can fill out if you're going to be temporarily out of the state so you can renew a driver's license by mail. It includes something called a Virginia Address Requirement Exception. Hopefully, that will allow a PO box. Hopefully, there is something similar for car registrations. I will send for the packet.

The real estate market is really hot here now. I had thought I would just keep this place because it would be just as cheap to do that than to store my furniture. But with home prices what they are now, I probably should sell. Decisions, decisions. And the more decisions I face, the stronger the inertia becomes.

I did find a house I liked in Tucson last week. I suppose that's progress. I could sell my condo and get change back from the brand new four bedroom home I found in Tucson.
