Sue was arrested in Washington, D.C. during the IMF/WB demonstrations in October, 2002. She was corralled into a group of people who had done nothing other than follow the Constitution and gathered on the Washington Mall to appeal their government for a beneficial change. She got caught in a group of about 600 people who were rounded up, handcuffed and incarcerated on nebulous charges. Sue made it clear that having her right hand wrist handcuffed to her left ankle was a really uncomfortable situation. Yet that was how she and dozens if not hundreds of other honest and sincere citizens were treated by their government for several hours of incarceration without access to water, sanitation or other facilities.

What Sue is is a witness to the depravity of our government. She's always at the forefront of any protest that means to educate the public and tell the truth. As you might expect, this isn't exactly popular with the authorities, who would rather keep their legitimacy hidden behind police barricades.

We'll hear from Sue shortly. We hope. :)
