Do you suppose Franken would ever suggest that he is "suspicious" of the visit by Bill Clinton to an all black church in LA yesterday? That it may have been for "political purposes" or that Bill isn't religious at all? Hey, he and everybody else knows that Bill is just "shucking and jiving." Bill is the premiere exponent of "The Church of What's Happening Now." That's OK, that's what we expect from him. It is the serious types like Bush that give him problems. It's OK to be religious , as long as we know it is "nudge, nudge, wink, wink."
