Oliphant is another guy I was predisposed to dislike, (recall the alleged skullduggery over memos Hillary shared with him) but was pleasantly surprised when I got the chance to meet him. He is quite the gentleman and very much a good sport. I met him when I was in New Hampshire in 96 working as a campaign volunteer. That was really the most fun part of my stay there, schmoozing with reporters and journalists. I was struck by what a classy guy Lars-Erik Nelson was. His premature death was very sad.
