Easy to hire, hard to fire, he explained. I spent 10 years as a Headhunter in the 70s, when things really were just getting started in this area. The question we used to try to determine was, "Are you litigatious?" Same thing, really. I have run into several ladies, that, when let go, filed a "sexual harassment" charge almost as a matter of course. It is a way to help negotiate your termination. I wrote yesterday about our problems with businesses closing. Regulations and Lawyers are one of the major reasons for going overseas. You could pay the same money, and not have these personnel problems. It is a "hidden" cost of business that no one talks about, but is affecting our productivity.
