Yes, you are correct, but because of the NW track, the storm is expected to quickly moves up the coast. Since Raleigh is some 70 miles west of the coast, we are only expected to get rain and wind to 50MPH. Pfew....I have a three story house with many windows and BIG trees around it.


I've only been in one hurricane so you have to tell us what its like. I can tell you from experience.......they tend to be windy and rainy! <g>
