I think we understand this. While we males may have testosterone poisoning, we are capable of some level of reasoning. :-)- Clearly if the winds are strong enough to simply destroy the house, having the window panes with the glass intact and boards still attached is of little value. HOWEVER, if the winds are not that strong and the boards prevent the glass from shattering and water from coming in, they have served a useful purpose.
