LOL...it's just not that bad right here, Gus. No storm quite that bad - despite all the old trees.( fingers, toes, and eyes crossed here) No tornados. No mud slides. No earthquakes. No scorpions or rattlesnakes or centipedes. There was a bullfrog up the block a few years ago that Pavarotti(sp?) has nothing on <g>. So I am not too worried. If there is no lighting, I'll take a stroll in the wind and the rain...a BRIEF stroll. ' - )

In many ways will be sorry to leave next spring or summer.
BUT NIH, a block away, will be building a counter bioterrorism lab soon, and while I am sure they will be VERY careful....lol. ( though that is not among the reasons we'll be going)

Gus, I had meant to post to this board. A couple things.

One is that NENG sure is steadily building a fine "buy the dips" tradition. As opposed to those stocks that make you feel like a dip after you buy.

The other. Skimmed your excellent links and overview awhile back. Did I see somewhere in there or elsewhere that corporate data backup systems have some variation of a "40% failure rate"?!?

If so, WOW! Mainly software failure? Hardware? Inappropriately setup to save what needs to be saved?

That's a dynamite satellite view, Gus. Ominous. We are pretty far inland, but maybe I should worry...lol. Off to get some flashlight batteries.
