It's a big issue because: How the land-use matter gets resolved by the Fed govt, and subsequently by the courts after the inevitable lawsuit by the losing side, it'll be legally precedent-setting in terms of land-use rights. The power from this thing would be enough to power the entire Cape Cod by itself. Maybe you've never been to Cape Cod, but trust me -that's a lot of clean renewable power. A lot of new techical and scientific data would be compiled. There are many lessons that can be learned from an unprecented project like this.
